adidas Originals Trimm Star

Just as everyone is beginning to plan out their summer vaca and their goal to loose a few pounds to catch the attention of that special someone at the beach, adidas Originals decides to re-issue their Trimm Star, a sneaker with a slimmed down silhouette...
Arriving in a four part collection, this sneaker has all the same trimmings as the OG version that first debuted in the 1970′s during a German government-sponsored ad campaign to help fight childhood obesity as part of a larger fitness apparel range . Within this pack, all four colorways feature a shaggy suede upper, which is set-off with smooth leather detailing for the Three Stripes and a matching accent color for the inner sockliner and adidas branding on the heel and tongue tag. The Trimm’s ghillie lacing system was an innovative feature at the time, eventually spurring a long line of sneaker releases featuring the design, tying off a shoe that became very much a part of the rising sportswear revolution. The U.K.’s size? stores will have all four colorways, which include a Zest Green/Vivid Yellow, a Mustang Brown/Cardinal, an Argentina Blue/Black, and a Dark Marine/Night Sky Blue, the first two arriving on March 29 and the later two in the months to come exclusively to this sneaker boutique.

stores and online on Friday 26th April, priced at £67.
